The Geocenter is a national center of geoscientific research, education, consulting, innovation and publishing at a high international level.
Geocenter Denmark was established with the purpose of strengthen the bonds between basic and applied research and the collaboration between the partners, as well as improving the quality of geological and geographical studies to the highest international level.
Geocenter Denmark is a formalised cooperation between Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), Department of Geoscience at the University of Aarhus and Department of Geosciences and Natural Ressource Management (IGN) and The Natural History Museum of Denmark at the University of Copenhagen.
